Business Development Representative
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team player with experience in the mortgage industry. You will report to the Director of Business Development and act as a liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers. To be successful, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. Ultimately, you will boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth. This position will be located in the Tampa/St. Petersburg, FL area with the flexibility to work remotely most days.
Responsibilities
- Use prospecting strategies to lead initial outreach prospects
- Identify the needs and challenges of the prospective client
- Determine the prospect’s interest in the product
- Schedule meetings for sales representatives and prospects
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Development, Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field
- 1+ years of mortgage, real estate, and/or appraisal experience is required
- Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
- Excellent phone, writing, and listening skill
- Self-starter who has a desire to learn, grow, and excel in their role
- Knowledge of business processes and organizational structures
- Proven business development success through effective use of core sales tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Google Apps, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations
