The Marketing Specialist will report to the Director of Marketing. The ideal candidate will have a software sales and marketing background. They will be responsible for the company’s marketing and communications strategies, as well as overall branding and image. They prepare annual marketing plans, create a calendar of campaigns and events, set the marketing budget, and analyze the market and competitors. You will drive end-to-end marketing programs, with your ownership of campaign planning and management of marketing automation platform operation, configuration, and administration; performance measurement and reporting; identification of trends and insights to optimize spend and performance. Mortgage, real estate, and/or appraisal experience is preferred. This position will be located in the Tampa/St. Petersburg, FL area with the flexibility to work remotely most days.
Configure and optimize marketing campaigns
Monitor daily operations and ensure optimal performance
Work closely with the marketing team to create new digital marketing campaigns and strengthen existing campaigns
Own the design, development, implementation, and measurement of marketing automation programs – all aspects of the process from target segmentation, list acquisition and importing, database queries, creation of email and landing page templates, lead scoring, scheduling, and reporting
Drive marketing automation program requirements for marketing campaigns.
Ensure quality control (e.g., testing, proofing, list management, tagging) and diagnose issues in end-to-end lead management
Build, manage and maintain reports to track ROI and success metrics for every campaign
Optimization of marketing campaigns including A/B testing, etc.
Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to execute marketing campaigns
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, related field, or equivalent experience
1+ years of mortgage, real estate, and/or appraisal experience is required
2+ years in marketing operations or marketing automation role
Email marketing experience preferred
Experience with Salesforce CRM, Salesforce campaigns, and reporting, and comfortable building reports and dashboards.
Strong data evaluation skills, with the ability to extract and interpret data from various sources to offer creative marketing solutions and business decisions
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong relationship building skills and experience working with colleagues and partners at all levels
